Sterling Residence is a full home renovation that breathes new life into a tired 1980s-era family home. Guided by a desire for calm, simplicity and connection, the project focused on thoughtful floorplan adjustments that improve the relationship between the kitchen, living and dining spaces while preserving a sense of separation that remains true to the home's traditional roots.

The renovation included a reconfigured kitchen with walk-in pantry, a new powder room and upgrades to the laundry and bathroom, creating a more functional and cohesive home for modern family living. A restrained, Japandi-inspired material palette brings warmth and texture through fluted joinery, handmade tiles, soft stone finishes and light timber tones. The result is a home that feels grounded, refined and enduring, balancing thoughtful planning with a sense of calm that flows throughout every space.
